Raymond Lacroix is one of the most prolific musicians in our area. He studied with Luc Groulx and went on to obtain his masters degree at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY. Since the early age of 18, he has directed local choirs and orchestras including the Centennial Choir, Ensemble Musique et Harmonie and the Seaway Winds. As music teacher he nourished young talent and continues as founder of Cornwall New Horizons, a band dedicated to encouraging everyone to develop their talent. Raymond performed and recorded as clarinettist with Vivianne Panizzon in Clarpian-Duo. He continues to share his love of music with everyone willing to join him.
Raymond Lacroix est l’un des musiciens les plus prolifiques de notre région. Il a étudié avec Luc Groulx et a obtenu sa maîtrise à la Crane School of Music de Potsdam, NY. Depuis l’âge de 18 ans, il dirige des chorales et des orchestres locaux, notamment le Centennial Choir, l’Ensemble Musique et Harmonie et les Seaway Winds. En tant que professeur de musique, il a nourri de jeunes talents et continue en tant que fondateur de Cornwall New Horizons, un groupe dédié à encourager chacun à développer son talent. Raymond a joué et enregistré en tant que clarinettiste avec Vivianne Panizzon dans Clarpian-Duo. Il continue à partager son amour de la musique avec tous ceux qui veulent bien le rejoindre.
