Lorna Foreman is a visual artist, media personality, writer and catalyst for community cultural activities. Throughout her career, Lorna has moved between visual arts, media and writing. Lorna produced 30-episode series Welcome to My Studio for community cable television and then wrote for the Standard Freeholder, Glengarry News and finally the national magazine, Fifty-Five Plus. After 11 years, Lorna compiled her articles into her first book, “When Life Becomes Real”.
Lorna is a founding member of the Focus Art Association and the founder of the Cornwall Regional Writers’ Society. Lorna famously brought them together to stage a show of illustrated haiku poetry titled “Where Verse and Visual Meet.”
