Berenice Dickson was born in Montreal where she studied dancing and fine arts. Often called “The Cornwall queen of dance” Berenice’s qualities as a dance teacher, choreographer, artist and volunteer are legendary. She was a member of the judges’ panel of the Scottish Official Board of Highland dancing, Scotland and adjudicated in this field in Canada and the United States. She is fondly remembered for her work with children, her paintings and her contribution to local theatre, The Glen. Twice she was nominated Citizen of the Year and won many prestigious awards. Berenice remains “a legend in our time” and a cultural model for all to follow.
Berenice Dickson est née à Montréal où elle a étudié la danse et les beaux-arts. Souvent appelée « La reine de la danse de Cornwall », Berenice a plus que fait ses preuves de professeure de danse, chorégraphe, artiste et bénévole.
