The Barstool Prophets has been hailed as the most prolific act to come out of Cornwall. From beginnings in high school, Glen Forrester, Bobby Tamas, Graham Greer and Al Morier became the Barstool Prophets in 1992 and moved to Ottawa. They flourished, producing an album in 1993, another 1995 that went gold and a third and final critical and commercial success in 1997. Along the way, they signed on with Mercury Records, toured cross-Canada with headline bands, and had singles and videos that got heavy rotation on Much Music. They retired in 1999 to pursue solo careers and come together occasionally for charity events.
