Duncan (Charlie) McIntosh is a native of St. Andrews whose theatrical career was launched at General Vanier Secondary School. His work as director, producer and artistic director in theatres throughout eastern Canada was widely acclaimed. Since 2002, Duncan has been the anchor of the Prince Edward Island Conservatory and The Watermark Theatre. He has been resident director at the Canadian Film Festival and the Canadian Opera company, a guest director and teacher at many universities and colleges across Canada and the United States, and artistic director in great theatres across Canada, including the Citadel Theatre and Shaw Festival. In 2017, Duncan McIntosh directed the re-dedication ceremonies at Vimy, France.
